About the Event
Canada Beyond the Blue is proud to bring our families an opportunity to connect in a closed group.
This group will be a safe and welcoming environment for police spouses to come and connect with other spouses and discuss their challenges being a police family/couple and receive strategies and resources. This group will be for adults 18 years and older.
This will be a closed group, meeting weekly virtually on Tuesday evenings which will be facilitated by two of our vetted clinicians.
There will be an intake prior to joining the group, as well as agreements to confidentiality and a code of conduct.
Some of the topics that will be covered include:
- Communication within your relationship, with your family and with your children
- Healthy & unhealthy relationships
- Boundaries
- Sex & Intimacy...and shift work
